Fraser Downs has announced that its program of live racing for Friday, January 7 has been cancelled due to unsafe track conditions

The Surrey, BC track has been experiencing seven-degree temperatures and has been taking rain.

Officials at the five-eighths mile facility have indicated that a cold front which is expected to be coming through could tighten the track up for the Saturday, January 8 program.

A decision on the Saturday card is expected to be made at 9:00 a.m.
