Race 4

#1 Keystone Nobility – She was buried for a long time in her debut on this circuit last week. She did finish with pace, but had given up too much ground to the top two to compete for the win. With an inside post and Waples aboard for the second time, I look for her to be in contention for the win.

#2 Anderosa Hanover – This filly is making just her second start and she took the majority of the win pool money in her debut. She wasn’t used all that hard last time, so look for her to be given a more aggressive steer tonight. She is a half sister to Aracache Hanover, so we’ll see if her talent rises to the top tonight.

#4 Adaymer Seelster – Tough Post 10 starts in her last two starts. She makes only her sixth start this year so her freshness is an advantage. She also has the advantage of stepping back to NW1 tonight so that alone makes her a top win candidate.

Race 5

#2 R Tonys Girl – Rallied nicely in her elimination to get the measure of the post time favourite in the nick of time. With the win she gets a better starting position and she isn’t a one dimensional type so look for her to be closer in the early going. She seems to be coming into her own and a repeat of last week isn’t out of the question.

#6 Dead Wrong – Clearly made a nice recovery after a troubled start. Has a history of racing well on this track and with a good start tonight and speed to chase, watch out for her late.

#10 Miss Dangles – She did very little wrong last week just getting nipped at the wire. Her reward is a Post 10 start which should make her price a little more acceptable. She is versatile enough to overcome the handicap and even with the tough starting position she is a big win threat.

Race 6

#1 Shesapurtylady – Was an almost three-length winner last week versus this same class. With some class droppers in here tonight, she might be overlooked at the windows and given her inside starting position, she might double up at a decent price.

#2 Millershighlites – Chased the one above last week as the favourite after working out a second-over trip. Since she couldn’t get it done last week with that trip hard to know what kind of a trip she needs to win. Still, not willing to overlook her and would be upset if she were to win and I didn’t have her.

#5 Amile To Remember – She was used early and had very little late last start. Tough to predict a better finish for her tonight, but given that it is her second start for trainer Gillis. I’m willing to assume that she will improve.

#8 Kay Low – Makes her first start her in Ontario having had two unimpressive qualifiers. Trainer Stewart has shown a knack for getting his horses in where they can win as his record on the circuit indicates. We’ll try her tonight in search of a price and an upset.

#9 Town Gigolo – The for sale sign gets hung on her for the first time in her career. She has obviously been facing tougher, so Post 9 isn’t as scary as it might be.

#10 Racy Gal Hanover – Similar to #9 she ids offered at a price for the first time. Tough to see here getting the front here early so we’ll watch to see if she can make up ground late. Given the class drop I’m not willing to drop her from the ticket even though she gets the outside post.

Race 7

#2 Seabreeze Bluechip – She had a better effort last week when not going to the lead early. Trainer has been cold win wise this month (1 for 20) but has five seconds and four thirds from those 20 starters. This one seems well suited to this level and I think it is just a matter of time before she strikes a pose.

#4 Paiging Kadabra – He races tonight for the first time in a little more than two weeks after scratching from the Autumn Stakes final. He also races tonight for a new trainer/driver who will suit his off the pace style. With any kind of speed battle in the early going, his chances go way up.

#5 Victom AS – Tired late in his last when he returned to Ontario. Given a full week at home we will assume a better effort is in store tonight.
