EPR To Host Two Live Cards Saturday
With 150 horses entered to race this Saturday at Exhibition Park Raceway, the half-mile oval will be hosting a double-header card of live racing, featuring Atlantic Sires Stakes and the Erwin Andrew Memorial Series.
The dual card comes after a hectic Old Home Week for PEI horsemen.
First race post times will be 1:00 and 4:30 p.m. for the respective programs.
The Standardbred Canada and Meridian Farms co-sponsored Erwin Andrew Memorial Series will bring the curtains down on the first card, as a field of seven aged mares will battle it out for a $4,860 purse in Race 11.
My Fine Lady (PP3, T. Trites) has been installed as the 2-1 morning line favourite, while R Es Queen Virgina (PP4, G. Barrieau) is the second early choice at 5-2.

The second card will be highlighted by three divisions of the Atlantic Sires Stakes for two-year-old pacing fillies. A pair of $13,440 'A' divisions have been carded as Races 9 and 11, while a lone $2,500 'B' division will be going postward as Race 6.
