Sixty For Escape The Wind

Escape The Wind threw down a breathtaking opening quarter in :25.1 en route to posting a milestone win on Saturday evening at Woodbine Racetrack

.

What the made the victory so special was the fact that it was the sixtieth lifetime tally for the charismatic veteran, who clearly has plenty of speed left in his 10-year-old legs.

Trainer/driver Roger Mayotte blasted the son of Artiscape-Chicole to immediate command and played a serious game of “catch me if you can” through rugged fractions of :25.1, :54.1 and 1:22.1 before sealing the deal with a :28.1 final frame. The 1:51 performance improved his 2010 record to 5-0-2 in 18 trips postward.

Escape The Wind, who is owned by Venture 2000 Stable of Mississauga, ON, stashed another $8,000 in his lifetime bank account which now stands at $2,103,844.
