HBPA Officials Indicted

Louisiana HBPA president Sean Alfortish and executive director Mona Romero have been indicted on federal charges of conspiracy and wire fraud in connection with Alfortish’s re-election two years ago.

The pair face up to life terms and more than $7 million in fines, according to Louisiana’s fox8live.com.
