Trot Insider has learned that horse owner Mabel Duford, a resident of Dresden, passed away peacefully at C.K.H.A. Sydenham Site, in Wallaceburg, Ont. on Thursday, October 28 at the age of 92

Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Duford (2006). Loving mother of Rod and Faye Duford of Essex, Jerry and Joanne Duford of Campbellville, Dennis Duford of Dresden. Loving grandmother of Jennifer Thompson, Dean Hughes, Ron Duford, Hannah Duford, and Ashley Duford. Loving great-grandmother of Michael Hamlin, Emma Thompson, Deanna Hughes, Jacob Hughes, Joseph Hughes. Predeceased by her sisters Kay Hanna, Dorothy Moffatt, and a brother Morgan Richards.

At Mabel's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will be held with the date and time to be announced later this week.
