Big Day For Campbell at Grand Prairie
Brandon Campbell enjoyed a banner day at Grand Prairie Raceway on Sunday afternoon thanks to a training triple and a driving Grand Slam.
His first win of the day came with the David Hebert trainee Mescalero Hanover, who rallied for a 1:58.3 triumph in Race 4.
Campbell took the checkered flag in the very next race with Good As Promised – the first off three winners from his own operation. The mare front-stepped her way to an impressive 1:58.3 victory.
Code Black's 1:58.3 score in Race 7 and Caledonian's 2:01.1 decision in Race 9 completed what proved to be a very profitable afternoon of racing for the Calgary, Alberta horseman, who went over the $1 million mark in driving earnings on Saturday.
