Hedger Returns To The Fair

to be a part of the action,” says TSN anchor Jennifer Hedger, the special guest at Western Fair this Saturday night.

Jennifer, who is the co-host on The Sports Network’s Sports Centre, will be on hand in the lobby at Western Fair on Saturday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. to meet and greet race fans and sign autographs. It’s part of the special promotions surrounding Forest City Pace night at the track. The $167,000 race for mares will go postward as race 10 on the 12-race program of harness racing that also includes the second leg of the Middlesex County Trotting Series and a $40,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Elimination for three-year-old pacing colts.

“I am so looking forward to being back in my hometown. The Forest City Pace is such an exciting event, and I am thrilled to be part of it,” noted Jennifer who attended the University of Western in London. She started her career in her hometown on radio and television before moving to TSN in 2002.

Jennifer will also be on hand to present the trophy to the winner of the second annual Forest City Pace which includes many of the top pacing mares in North America. The race will be carried as a feature race on Horse Player Interactive.

In addition, the first 500 patrons with a coupon will receive a free hat. Race programs and live video are available on westernfair.com.
