Outlawpositivcharg - Governor's Plate
Outlawpositivcharg, a four-year-old bay gelding by Blissful Hall - Electromagnetic, set a new personal record of 1:54.2 in winning the second $5,000 Governor's Plate trial. And although the finishing time in the final wasn't as fast as the trial, Gallant couldn't have been happier as it's been a childhood dream of his to win a Governor's Plate.
This one also has extra significance for Gallant as his mother, Ruth, is battling cancer. Gallant dedicated the win to his mother.
"Everything is for my mother," Gallant told the Journal Pioneer . "She's my life."
