A Wolfenden Wednesday At Harrington
Harrington Raceway’s leading driver Ross Wolfenden solidified his lead in the drivers standings with five winners Wednesday night

The 47-year-old Wolfenden, a winner of more than 4,600 races lifetime, is well on his way to getting his first career driving title, with 212 wins at the current Harrington meet, which wraps up October 28. Four-time defending champ Tony Morgan is second with 183, while Victor Kirby sits third with 130.
On the training side, Tim Crissman (68 wins) is set to repeat as he maintains a 14 win lead over Wayne Givens (54) in the conditioners standings. Les Givens is currently in third with 42 victories.
Meanwhile, Harrington’s fourth leading driver, Jim Morand, took the Wednesday feature aboard David Neilson’s Gurf in the $19,000 Junior Open Trot in 1:58.1.
It was the fifth win of the year for the five-year-old Self Possessed gelding trained by Rosemary Smutz.
