Commission Exec. Director Accused Of Intimidation
Courier-journal.com has reported that Indiana Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association Executive Director Eddie Martin has accused Indiana Horse Racing Commission Executive Director Joe Gorajec of intimidation and misconduct.
The article explains that Gorajec allegedly sent the IHRC's director of security to Martin's Florida farm. Martin, who claims that Gorajec is against his policies, has been cited as saying that the IHRC head had no legal power to send the security director to the Florida farm.
Martin has also claimed that Gorajec did not contact any authorities in Florida about the visit.
Gorajec's attorney, Robin Babbitt, did not discuss the matter, but did go on the record as saying that charges of wrongdoing are "entirely without merit."
