Hometown Score For Tiz To Dream
Tiz To Dream went to the front and didn’t look back for driver Doug McNair on Monday evening en route to taking home the biggest payday of her career
. The three-year-old daughter of Grinfromeartoear-Extreme Dream posted the victory over six of the province’s finest sophomore filly pacers in the $170,000 O.S.S. Gold Series Final over Grand River Raceway’s rain-soaked oval.
McNair hustled Tiz To Dream to immediate command from Post 2, and she successfully whacked out panels of :28.3, :58.1 and 1:27.2 before tacking on a :29.4 final quarter on her way to the 1:57.1 victory. FBs Terror (Tony Kerwood) returned to the scene of last year’s Battle of the Belles triumph and finished in the runner-up spot, while Putnam Mackenzie (Randy Waples) rounded out the top three finishers in the rich affair.
Trainer Gregg McNair co-owns the talented pacing lass with Paul Kidd of Guelph, ON, and together they watched her win for the sixth time this season and for the 12th time in her career. She has banked more than $319,000 this year and more than $632,000 to date.
