Streaks Alive On Final Day At Dresden
Two streaks stayed alive at Dresden Raceway as Mac Daddy won his fifth in a row and Cinful Kisses won his
fourth in a row at the half-mile oval.
In the ninth race for $4,000 claimers, Mac Daddy, who hasn’t lost since June 13 at Raceway Park in Toledo, took the lead down the backside and never looked back for driver Mike Clark in 2:01.1. The 10-year-old Keystone Raider gelding is owned by Joe Casagranda of Leslie, Michigan and trained by Kristy Casagranda.
Cinful Kisses picked up his fourth consecutive win two races later for owner-trainer Mike Langlois of Maidstone, Ont. The four–year-old Astreos gelding was driven to victory by Ernie Hendry in 1:58.4.
Handle for the closing day at Dresden Raceway was $12,339.
Brad Forward was the leading dash winner and money winner at Dresden Raceway with 55 wins and almost $225,000 in purse earnings. The top dash winner at Dresden Raceway for trainers was Gord McDonell with 11 wins while the top money winner and per centage winner was Bob McIntosh, who brought eight winners to town and earned $38,000 in purses.
