The son of The Panderosa-Eicarls Olvidar, who pulled off a sweep of the three-week Juggernaut Series at Sudbury prior to winning his first leg division of the Young Guns Series last week, captured the first of two $8,500 second leg divisions. Favourite Enigma Hanover sat third for most of the mile before stealing the spotlight from pacesetter Casimir Jitterbug (Mario Rivest) in the stretch. He won by over a length in 1:57. Nobles Grin (Mike Noble) finished third off a pocket trip. The other first leg winner, Lil Pilgrim (David Dowling), made a costly break at the half and finished last.

Enigma Hanover paid $3.70 to win for the sixth consecutive time. R. K. Joe Miskokomon of Muncey, ON owns the sophomore gelding, who was winless in four starts at two. So far this year, he has won nine times in 25 starts and has banked $46,098.

Sa Summers Luck, third to Enigma Hanover in the series’ first leg, rallied off third over cover with a :29.4 final frame to win in 1:57 by a half-length. The front-stepping Top Of The Morning (Mike MacNeill) was second with Fb Seelster (Allan Hohner) coming in third.

Sa Summers Luck paid $10.60 to win as the 4-1 third choice in the field. James Madill trains the four-year-old gelded son of Northern Luck-Summers Past for Ina Madill of Innisfil, ON. The win was Sa Summers Luck's third in 18 starts and the lion’s share of the purse pushed his 2010 earnings to $23,314.

The series, for non-winners of three races or $40,000 lifetime (F/M 4R or $60,000), will wrap up next Saturday night at Sudbury Downs.
