Driver Keith Banks was injured after an accident-marred eleventh race Thursday at Harrington Raceway

Banks, a 42-year-old trainer/driver, was thrown from his mount Sentinelle Hanover when the horse to his inside, GEs Kris, made a break in stride and appeared to impede his progress.

Banks fell onto the track and was taken to nearby Bayhealth Medical Center in Milford, where he was being treated. Preliminary reports were that he was going to be kept overnight for precautionary measures. Both horses appeared to escape injury. No further information was available the time of this release.
