Zeron Sits Atop Leaderboard
Driver Scott Zeron told Trot Radio earlier this year that he wanted to win the nation's dash title. As of this morning, he's made the front. Now he just has to hold off the rest
of the pack.
Zeron's seasonal win total is now 376, tops in Canada and seventh in North America. Brad Forward is currently in second with 374 and Doug McNair is third with 347.
In the money race, Jody Jamieson and Mark MacDonald are in a close battle for top honours. Jody Jamieson tops the list with $6,085,477 and MacDonald isn't far behind with $6,047,706.
On the training side, Casie Coleman's $3.3 million in Canadian purses is more than $1 million ahead of her nearest competitors Bob McIntosh, Ben Baillargeon and Shawn Robinson.
Rene Allard has the most Canadian training wins with 143, leading runner-up Richard Moreau (122), Shawn Robinson (121) and Keith Clark (119).
