Trot Insider has learned that Dr. Peter Boyce passed away on Friday, August 20 after battling pancreatic cancer

. He was 62.

Boyce spent many years as the chief Veterinarian at Hanover Shoe Farms, and was highly regarded in the standardbred industry.

Peter was retired and living in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania at the time of his passing. Funeral arrangements will be posted once they are finalized.
