Put On A Show Looks To Rebound

Put On A Show, the No. 8-ranked horse in harness racing’s Top 10 poll, will look to bounce back from a sixth-place finish in the Mistletoe Shalee

when she faces seven rivals in Sunday’s $350,000 Valley Forge for three-year-old filly pacers at Harrah’s Chester Casino & Racetrack.

Put On A Show has won seven of nine races this year, including the $200,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes championship and $175,000 Miss New Jersey, and earned $453,555. She was second, beaten by a neck, in the $646,020 Fan Hanover.

Dancinwiththestarz, who won the $275,000 Mistletoe Shalee on August 7 at the Meadowlands Racetrack from Post 9 with a 1:48.4 world-record performance, is among Put On A Show’s foes. Dancinwiththestarz has won six of nine races, including a division of the Tarport Hap and three legs of the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes series, and finished no worse than second this year while earning $387,756. She finished second to Put On A Show in their Mistletoe Shalee elimination race.
