Im Justa Lady Notches 67th Win

Im Justa Lady kicked off Adios Week at The Meadows in grand style Monday as she shot the Lightning Lane to capture her 67th career victory in the $22,500 Filly & Mare Preferred Handicap Trot

.

Im Justa Lady sat third at the top of the stretch, three lengths back and apparently gapping. But when Tony Hall showed her the Lightning Lane, she poured through to score in 1:55, a tick off her lifetime best. The first-over BVs Sister was second by one-half length while early leader Hawaiianphotograph finished third.

Bill Daumit trains Im Justa Lady, a nine-year-old daughter of Inquirer-Quite Becoming who now boasts career earnings of $585,694, for Janet Collins and Patricia Daumit.

Hall drove four winners on the 14-race card while Charlie Norris and Dave Palone each fashioned a three-bagger.

Adios Week features Grand Circuit racing Wednesday and Friday evenings and Saturday afternoon, highlighted by Saturday’s $500,000 final of the Delvin Miller Adios. First post Saturday is 12:55 p.m.
