Lucky Chucky's Sister, Millionaires Qualify

Saturday’s qualifying session at the Meadowlands Racetrack featured the little sister of Hambletonian eligible Lucky Chucky in action along with a pair of millionaire pacers


In the opening qualifier for two-year-old trotting fillies, Win Doctor front-stepped her way to a four length victory in 2:00.2, with her final quarter clocked in :28.2, for driver Tim Tetrick and trainer Chuck Sylvester. The daughter of Windsongs Legacy-Aerobics, a full-sister to Lucky Chucky ($711,606), was purchased for $80,000 at the Harrisburg Sale by Melvin Hartman of Ottawa, ON, Herb Liverman of Miami Beach and David McDuffee of Delray Beach, Florida. It was her second qualifying start.

Other winning freshmen trotters were Tango Dancer, (Broadway Hall-Giant Step) in 1:57.2, Consus Blue Chip (Muscles Yankee-Platnum Power) in 2:01.2, and Neal (Credit Winner-Lavern Lavec) in 1:57.3.

Switching to the pace, the two-year-old winners were La Brujita (American Ideal-Anthology) in 1:57, Live Inspired (Western Hanover-Numeric Hanover) in 1:56.4, Beware Of The Ace (Cams Card Shark-Bababababarbarapan) in 1:57.2, and Real Special (Real Desire-Treasure The Best) in 1:57.

Coming off a sixth-place finish in his Ben Franklin elimination on July 11 at Harrah’s Chester, millionaire pacer Mr Wiggles went first up from third past the third quarter station and kicked home in :26.2 to win his qualifier in 1:50.3. Bettor Sweet and John Campbell finished one and a half length behind. Tim Tetrick drove the four-year-old son of Badlands Hanover-Wiggle Hanover for trainer George Teague, Jr.

Next up, millionairess Not Enough was a wire-to-wire winner in 1:52.1, with her final quarter clocked in :27.3. She was over nine lengths the best for Tetrick and trainer Paul Reid. Prior to Saturday’s qualifying effort, the four-year-old daughter of Grinfromeartoear-Party Planner won her first four qualifiers of the season at Pocono Downs.
