Atlantic Sires Stakes racing action will return to Northside Downs for the first time this season when the three-year-old pacing colts meet for competition at the North Sydney track on Saturday, July 10.

Excitement levels are sure to be high at the Cape Breton oval when two 'A' divisions race for a purse pool of $9,920 each, and a lone 'B' division goes for $2,500.

This will be the third meeting of the colts this season.

Following the North Sydney events the colts will have four more opportunities to earn points towards securing entry into the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown.

This year’s championship weekend will be hosted by Truro Raceway October 8 -10.

First-race post time at Northside Downs on Saturday is 1:30 p.m.
