Six-Figure Yearling At Mohawk Qualifiers
A total of 10 qualifying races are set to go forward Tuesday, July 6 at Mohawk Racetrack. Juveniles will be on display during the first four dashes, included in which will be a $150,000 yearling buy that will be
putting in his first-ever charted line.
Stuck Up, who was plucked out of the Lexington Select sale in Kentucky last October, will be making his career debut.
The Bettors Delight colt will be steered by his trainer, Dustin Jones, and will line up in Post 9 when the starter calls the field for Race 4.
Stuck Up is out of the same mare (Hallmark Hanover, by Arturo) as Pedigree Snob, the $439,000 earner which won the 2008 edition of the Sweetheart, which went for $431,500 that year at the Meadowlands.
Race 1 through 4 will be the juveniles' time to shine, although a pair of freshman will be lining up against older foes in Race 6.
