Rush N Supreme Wins In Sarnia Return

Rush N Supreme picked up his second consecutive Sarnia victory when he rallied from off cover and kicked away by over four lengths in the $10,000 Randy Kerr Memorial Preferred 2 Trot featured on Saturday’s program at Hiawatha Horse Park

.

The six-year-old son of Sjs Caviar-So Far Kosmos won his last start at Hiawatha on June 3 then took a brief trip south of the border to Michigan’s Hazel Park Raceway, where he finished third in an Open Pace on June 11.

In his return to Canada, Rush N Supreme got away sixth from Post 4 and was spotted third over at the half. Driver Mitchell Walker, who also owns the bay gelding, sent him three-wide before reaching the third interval and plowed down pacesetter Red Neck Style (Brad Forward) in the stretch to take a new mark of 1:57.2 over a ‘good’ track rated one second off. Southwind Califon (Kevin Wallis) rounded out the top three.

Rush N Supreme paid $13.50 to win as the 5-1 sixth choice. Terrence Tomlin trains the winner of four races in 18 starts this year and $30,969. Lifetime, Rush N Supreme boasts 17 wins on his record and $96,753 in earnings.
