If you see driver Brian Sears choosing to drive pacing colt Its Rock N Roll in the majority of his starts this year, there's a good reason above and beyond the fact that the colt impressively won his first two

qualifying starts.

Sears bred Its Rock N Roll, and owns a part of him along with Curtis Larrimore, NFLer Wayne J Chrebet, and Carter Racing Stable. In his debut, Sears guided Its Rock N Roll to a 1:55.4 effort. He followed it up with a win in 1:57 off a final quarter of :26.

"He's been a pleasure, it's been a lot of fun for me," Sears told The Meadowlands' Sam McKee. "George [Teague] has brought around 30 horses up here since the start of April and I've been able to go over and train him all Spring."

Sears remains cautiously optimistic but had nothing but praise for his two-year-old.

"It's been a lot of fun because he's such a nice horse to train. It's been real exciting for me and he's done everything right so far," continued harness racing's driver of the decade. "It looks like we've got a nice horse there and I hope we [the owners] can have some fun."

In the Meadowlands' feature video, McKee also talks with Sears about whether or not he ever let Muscle Hill loose and for his thoughts on the three-year-old trotting crop of 2010.
