Vernon Downs has announced that the overnight purses at the track have been increased

The overnight purses have been increased by approximately 15%, effective with the Thursday, June 24 card of racing.

The top horses, Miracle Mile Class 'A,' will now race for $11,000 if seven or more start, $10,000 if fewer than seven and the NW 1 PM and $4,000 claimers have been raised to $2,900 and $3,400, respectively.

Entries for the June 24 races close on Saturday, June 19 at 9:00 a.m.
