Mano Cornuto, Dube Tops In Stallion Series
Driver Daniel Dube scored a stakes hat trick on the Thursday afternoon card at Harrah's Chester Racetrack, and Mano Cornuto took top honours among eight $20,000 divisions of the Pennsylvania Stallion Series
for three-year-old pacing fillies.
Mano Cornuto, a three-year-old daughter of Village Jolt-Malocchio, was forwardly-placed on the first turn, pressing the pace to a :28.2 quarter before clearing the lead. Daniel Dube had no issue controlling the middle stages of the race, facing no pressure until the top of the stretch, where Mano Cornuto responded to stave off a hard-closing Marymary Fra to score a 1:53.3 victory.
Dube also won with Discoverer (Four Starzzz Shark, 1:54.2) and She Can Dance (The Panderosa, 1:56.0) in their respective divisions. Other division winners were:
