With racing opportunities limited elsewhere, director of racing Gregg Keidel has assembled a solid mix of horsemen and average field size is up from 7.1 to 8.5 for its Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday schedule of racing.
Handle for the first week was up 150% over a year ago, and general manager Bob Farinella and mutuel director Ben Blum are seeking new simulcast partners for the track’s 7:00 p.m. weekday and Saturday schedule and Sunday’s 5:00 p.m. central matinees.
