MacDonald Tweets For Four
With a full card of drives at Grand River Tuesday night, Mark MacDonald still found time to tweet between takes
.
At the urging of his brother Curtis — a talented racing video producer — MacDonald logged into his Twitter account several times during Tuesday's card, candidly updating fans on his wins and misses throughout the night.
Using technology developed for the new Monday night Paddock Report at Grand River Raceway, MacDonald’s tweets were streamed into the video feed and displayed during the broadcast.
MacDonald managed four wins and four runner-up finishes on the card. Rookie pacer Amanda Star kicked off MacDonald’s night with a two-length score in race two for trainer Marty Fine. MacDonald was back in the next dash with J K Special for trainer Ronnie Maclean. Bouttofindout left from post seven in race seven to win by a neck for trainer Rick Zeron. MacDonald capped off the late double aboard My Yiddish Mama in her first win from eight starts in 2010.
