This weekend, Yonkers Raceway presents the penultimate preliminary rounds of the both the Blue Chip Matchmaker and George Morton Levy Memorial

Pacing Series.

Friday night's fourth foray for the Matchmaker mares finds a trio of $40,000 divisions (races 4, 6 and 8), and the evening is spiced up by the seasonal debut of double-millionairess Southwind Tempo.

The six-year-old daughter of Bettors Delight drew outside of her five rivals in the final event, with Cat Manzi driving for trainer Jeff Webster. With 33 career wins and more than $2.2 million in earnings, Southwind Tempo is back to the pari-mutuel wars for the first tine since last October at The Red Mile. She returns to the scene of one of her more memorable work nights, a victory in the $242,620 Lismore Pace in June of 2007.

Go On BB (Jason Bartlett, Post 2) gets the morning-line nod on the strength of her Matchmaker win a week ago.

The first division finds some draw relief for certified closer Ramona Disomma (Greg Grismore, Post 3). The five-year-old daughter of Pacific Fella had too far to come a week ago after finishing third and second in her first two series tries. She returned to town after winning the $115,000 final of the Overbid last month at the Meadowlands.

Fleur de Lil A (Mike Vanderkemp, Post 2) and Makerbark (Stephane Bouchard, Post 4) each have wins in this series.

Friday night's middle event appears to be an inside battle between three of the biggest players among the lasses in this legion - On The Glass (Bartlett, Post 1), Shanghai Lil (Bouchard, Post 2) and Mcgibson (Stratton, Post 3).

On The Glass, a pole-position winner (1:54.3) a week ago, is 6-for-11 this season, while Shanghai Lil prevailed two weeks ago.

Saturday night's fourth round of the Levy is comprised of a five-pack of $50,000 events (races 4,6,8,9 and 11).

The first event offers a showdown between River Shark (Dan Dube, Post 1) and Western Ace (Corey Callahan, Post 4). River Shark went the distance from the pole two starts ago, while Western Ace - with a win and a second in three series tries - has done his damage from off-the-pace.

Defending series champ Foiled Again (Bartlett, Post 3) wedged into Saturday night's second division after turning in arguably the best series effort to date. Going first-up into a wicked (:55.1) back half, Foiled Again was able to out game Corky Baran for his second win in three series starts.

The third grouping finds Poker Hat (Brett Miller, Post 6) going after a third series victory, while Mr. Wiggles (Callahan, Post 4) has been a bridesmaid in all three Levy efforts.

Saturday's fourth Levy event finds Pangiorno (Dube, Post 1) - who made his series debut by matching the fastest local mile (1:52.3) of the season, again drawing inside. He opposes the like of millionaire Badlands Nitro (Callahan, Post 3) and Tenant in Chief (Brent Holland, Post 7), the latter going for a series three-peat.

The evening's final series event hooks up Atochia (Bartlett, Post 1) and Southwind Lynx (Callahan, Post 3), each a winner a week ago and both with a pair of series conquests. Legal Litigator (Miller, Post 2) and Corky Baran (Dube, Post 4) were second-best in their most recent respective tries.
