The Slots Cup Series and its accompanying OLG promotion, Slots Cup Of Cash, kicks off at Western Fair Raceway this Friday night

A joint effort between ROMP (Racetracks Of Ontario Marketing & Promotions), horsepeople and the OLG, the Slots Cup Series marks its third edition in 2010.

The series is for Ontario-sired pacers, ages four and under. This year, a record 40 horses are nominated for the event.

The series spans April through September and includes six legs at Western Fair Raceway, Hanover Raceway, Clinton Raceway, Flamboro Downs, Grand River Raceway and Georgian Downs.
The top money-earners from the qualifying legs advance to the $100,000 final at Hiawatha Horse Park on September 11, 2010.

Each qualifying leg of the Slots Cup Series will be supported by a promotional campaign coordinated by participating tracks and the OLG Slots.

The Grand Prize winners will receive a Grand Finale Slots Cup Prize Package which includes limo transportation and overnight accommodations to the Slots Cup Series Final at Hiawatha Horse Park. Finalists from each participating track will vie for a Grand Prize as they are matched with a horse in the Slots Cup Series Final.
