Woodbine Entertainment Group has announced it will be bumping up the guaranteed pool on the Monday early pick-4 wager from $35,000 to $40,000

, beginning this Monday, April 12.

WEG began offering the guaranteed pool in early March and the response from customers has been positive with the average pool size reaching $46,000 through the first four weeks of the new initiative. There have been some large payouts as well, including a $3,087.60 return on the March 29 program.

The overall handle on Monday nights has also been bolstered by additional coverage on the TVG horse racing channel.

The early Pick-4 at Woodbine is offered on races four through seven. First post for Monday’s program is 7:20 p.m.
