Pharmacy Sued Over 21 Polo Horse Deaths
The connections of 21 polo horses which died under initially unknown circumstances are now suing an Ocala, Florida area pharmacy which improperly mixed vitamin
supplements.
An article on miamiherald.com states that Franck's Pharmacy is being sued by Quantum Management Company and three individuals due to the fatal mistake which the pharmacy ultimately admitted. More than $4 million is being sought in the suit.
The horses from the Venezuelan-owned Lechuza Caracas team began collapsing April 19 as they were unloaded from trailers at the International Polo Club Palm Beach before a championship match.
