Red Shores Offers Dubai World Cup

Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park will carry the Dubai World Cup Saturday, March 27 live from the state-of-the-art Meydan Grandstand and Racecourse in Dubai.

Customers will be able to place their bets on the Dubai World Cup, worth $10 million (U.S.), along with some new additions on the thoroughbred day now totaling $26.25 (U.S.) in purses. 2010 marks the first year the race will be run on the new Tapeta synthetic racing surface which has attracted entries from some of the best turf runners, as well as the top dirt specialists.

There are a record number of nominations, including world-class horses such as Cavalryman and Gladiatorus competing.

Charlottetown opens for business on Race 2, scheduled for 10:15 a.m., with special draws being held throughout the day.
