The Alberta Standardbred Horse Association held its annual AGM meeting on Saturday at the Edmonton Northlands Paddock Theatre, and the agenda included voting for its 2010 Board of Directors

Here’s a complete list of the Board that was voted in:

• Bill Andrew – two-year term President (2010/2012)
• Joe Tinelli - one-year term Vice president (2010/2011)
• Diane Bertrand – two-year term Owners Chair (2010/2012)
• Rod Hennessy – two-year term driver/Trainer Chair (2010/2012)
• JF Gagne – two-year term Director (2010/2012)
• Sam Johnson – two-year term Director (2010/2012)
• Neil Malloch – one-year term (Past President) (2010/2011)

The following is a list of the returning Board of Directors for Alberta
Standardbred who will be completing their remaining terms (2010/2011)

• Norm Kennedy - Secretary Treasurer
• Barry Hill - Breeders Chair
• Dan Sifert - Director
• Ricky Schneider - Director

Stepping down from the Board of Directors

• Lorne Duffield (Director)
• Gerry Hudon (Director)
• Ron Baxter ( Driver/Trainer Chair)

The ASHA also welcomed the four new members to the Breeders committee. They are Connie Kolthammer, Nick Sass, Ricky Schneider and Mona Hill. Hill is returning for another three-year term.

They will join current members Terry McIssac, Al Neurauter, Harold Haining, Bill Andrew, Gordon Empey and Chair, Barry Hill.
