Equine Canada has announced that the budget allocation to offset the costs for people participating in the Ontario Traceability Pilot Project has been finalized

Participants who comply with the project’s criteria are eligible to receive approximately $2,400 for their participation over a 12-week period, including:

• $50 for travel costs to attend the orientation session
• $250 at completion of project enrollment
• $175 per week for each week of participation in reporting

The deadline to apply is Wednesday, March 24, 2010. ORC licensees who are interested in participating in the pilot project are asked to submit their contact information and a brief summary of how they participate in the Ontario racing industry, including the number of horses for which they have care, custody and control to:
