Dream Dancing Wins Meadows Feature
Dream Dancing moved powerfully first-over and overtook the leader, Lady Newton, in mid-stretch to earn her third straight victory in Tuesday’s feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,100 filly and mare conditioned pace.
Dream Dancing was fourth by five lengths down the backside when Ronnie Wrenn Jr. tipped her off the cones. The four-year-old daughter of A Rocknroll Dance-Clearly Foxy defeated Lady Newton by a half-length in 1:52.3, a tick off her lifetime mark. Amelias Courage A completed the ticket.
Ron Burke trains Dream Dancing, who extended her career bankroll to $155,507, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC. The win was one of three for Wrenn on the 11-race card.
Live racing at The Meadows continues Wednesday, with first post at 12:45 p.m.
