.

Ben, who currently finds himself perched atop the leader board among all trainers on the WEG circuit in 2010, surpassed $20 million in career earnings with a little help from his brother, Mario Baillargeon.

The siblings lowered the boom on the competition in Race 6 when they clicked with the eight-year-old Sand Chaser gelding JC Chaser. He rallied from just off the pace to win by a neck in 1:58.1.

Cinema Star made it back-to-back win for the brothers, who had to be pleased with the Cams Card Shark gelding’s 1:54.3 score in Race 7. The four-year-old, who was sent off as the 1-5 favourite, drew off to win by more than seven lengths.

High Energy gave the tandem their third consecutive tally thanks to his 1:55 triumph in Race 8. The four-year-old Western Terror gelding, who closed as the 1-2 choice, cruised home with more than three lengths to spare.

Ben, who has sent out more than 1,400 winners over the course of his career, has sent out more than 100 winners in three of the last four seasons in addition to banking close to $3 million in purse earnings in each of the last two years.
