The California Racing Board, at its most recent meeting in February, awarded the balance of the 2010

harness dates to Cal-Expo.

Now, in addition to the dates allocated by the CRB this past December that had Cal-Expo offering harness racing through June 19, the most recent dates awarded has Cal-Expo continuing on with harness racing after the State Fair, specifically from August 13 through December 18.

“We are happy to have put the allocation of the fall harness racing dates behind us and are looking forward to the fall meet beginning August 13 of this year,” said Cal-Expo Director of Racing Dave Elliott.

Live racing resumes at Cal-Expo on Thursday, March 4 and continues through Saturday, March 6. First-race post time on Thursday is now scheduled for 5:00 p.m. (PST). First-race post times on Friday and Saturday are scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
