PEI Symposium On Trot Radio
There are many commonalities between all sectors of the horse industry, and this weekend's PEI Horse Industry Symposium will look to embrace and develop those relationships
with a two-day event open to all equine-related disciplines.

The event, which will be held at the Dutch Inn, Cornwall, PEI, February 26 and 27, is a joint effort of the PEI Department of Agriculture, PEI Harness Racing Industry Association, PEI Draft Horse Association, and the Island Horse Council, and is open to all participants in the horse industry in the province.
Kenny Arsenault, Jody Jamieson, Brent MacGrath and Phil Pinkney will be among the guest speakers. Jamieson and MacGrath will be part of a unique panel discussion on Friday, February 26 at 7:25 p.m. titled 'Competing on the National Stage' along with champion draft horse breeder Lois Sandwith, national hunter-jumper competitor Martie Murphy, and All American Quarter Horse Congress exhibitor Brittany Watts. The discussion will be followed by a panel on successful owner partnerships, which includes Arsenault, Pinkney and MacGrath, along with local owners Mike Campbell and Peter Smith.
Sessions on Saturday, February 27 will feature noted Ontario farm manager Doug Nash, Blair Keeling of Master Feeds, draft horse owners Troy Thomas, Wesley Hayward and Lloyd Langille, as well as numerous local veterinarians, horse owners, business representatives and industry leaders.
The symposium will also include an industry trade show featuring nine Maritime businesses.
