Walnut Hall Lexington Videos Now Posted
Videos of the 15 Walnut Hall Ltd. yearlings selling at the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale are now posted on both the sale’s website at lexingtonselected.com and the Walnut Hall Ltd. website at walnuthall.com.
The Walnut Hall consignment includes four Grand Circuit quality trotters and 11 equally classy pacers. The trotters include a half-brother to the Free-For-All trotting star Oney Hall 1:51.4 ($233,289) by the first-year sire International Moni; a strikingly beautiful filly by Trixton, who’s a full or half-sister to three big money stakes winners; a Muscle Mass colt, who’s a half-brother to three stakes winners including Dancer Hall, 5, 1:51 1/5 ($400,482); and a Muscle Mass half-sister to several stakes winners out of the great bred Constance Hall, 2, 1:58.3 ($250,990), a half-sister to the great Cantab Hall.
The 11 pacers, all colts, include one by Bettors Delight out of the millionaire and Dan Patch and O’Brien Champion Fancy Filly, 3, 1:49.4 ($1,080,806), and a 100 per cent stakes producer from four foals of racing age. The other 10 colts are all by Fear The Dragon and out of one of the best bands of pacing matrons in North America, Bruce Trogdon’s Emerald Highlands Farm.
Everyone of the dams of these 10 pacing colts with at least one foal of racing age has produced a stakes winner, including the half brother to the O’Brien three-year-old champion, Wakizashi Hanover, 2, 1:47.3, ($1,489,550).
All of the Walnut Hall yearlings are available daily, including Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., for inspection both in hand and in the paddock. Walnut Hall would appreciate a call ahead to their farm manager, Keith Cox at 859-983-4758, but it isn’t obligatory.
