Life Is Better is coming off a wire-to-wire win in 1:57 last week at Dresden. The five-year-old Betterthancheddar gelding will have Garret Rooney at the controls.
Dale Spence is in the bike for Bigmachwithcheese, also a five-year-old Betterthancheddar gelding. Bigmachwithcheese is undefeated at Dresden including winning the Mark Austin Pacing Series in 1:56.2.
Millenium Seelster, a five-year-old Sunshine Beach gelding, is coming of a fourth place finish at Grand River in 1:54.2 with a 57.2 back half. Scott Wray will be driving Millenium Seelster.
Ken Houston who died in 2018 was a regular at Dresden Raceway and was known for his rugged play over nine seasons with the Atlanta Flames, Calgary Flames, Washington Capitals and LA Kings.
This Sunday will also feature Beer, Burger and a Bet day at Dresden Raceway where patrons will be able to buy a ticket and get a beer, a burger and a $2 bet for $10.
