Trot Insider has learned that horseman Hubert Robitaille of Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba passed away peacefully at the Notre Dame Hospital on Wednesday

, February 10, 2010 at the age of 73.

He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn (née Grenier); three daughters: Yvette (Marcel) Gaultier, Denise Robitaille, and Diane (Léo Chabbert); two sons: Marcel (Jacqueline) Robitaille and Maurice Robitaille; 11 grandchildren: Donald (Shannon), Maurice (Jeanette), Jean, Cherilyne, Daniel (Nathalie), Sophie, René, Christine, Chantal, Stéphan and Marissa; four great-grandchildren: Brenden, Gabriel, Christian and Dominique.

With respect for his wishes, cremation has taken place.

A funeral mass will be celebrated in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Léon Mubikayi officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Notre Dame Health Foundation, Box 190, Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB R0G 1M0.
