Teague Takes Six At Harrington
When it came to hot hands at Harrington Raceway, no sulky sitter could match the mitts of driver Montrell Teague who lit the lamp six times on the Monday card.
Teague piloted a pair of Josh Green-trainees, Eric Good’s Carlisimo ($2.60) and KDP Stable’s Anytime N ($3.20) to victories early in the card. Anytime N’s 1:53 win came in the co-featured $17,000 conditioned pace for mares over Feeling Sweet and Shesarocker.
One race later, Teague chauffeured American Admiral ($2.80) to his third straight win for owners David Hamm and Rodney Long and current meet leading trainer Chuck Crissman. Teague then scored wins with Bill Sartin’s Twin B Betty ($4.60) and Mike West and Jason Johnson’s Three Dragons ($6.40) and Roy Salute’s Own It ($8.40).
Teague is currently second in the driver standings behind defending Harrington driving champ Allan Davis, who piloted Lightning On My Feet ($2.60) to a win in the 14th race.
George Leager’s Slick Tony (Jason Lynch, $5.80) scored his 49th career win in 1:52 in the co-featured $17,000 conditioned event for male pacers over Keep On Rocking A and Justasec N. Trained by his owner, it was his eighth win of the season.
