Officials with Hiawatha Horse Park would like to advise horsepeople that the five-eighths mile oval will be closed for training on Wednesday (June 23).

The track is being resurfaced, prompting the temporary closure.

Training will resume next Wednesday (June 30) between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
