Friends of Doug Harkness from both the harness racing communities and the newspaper fraternity have joined forces to plan a benefit for the well-known editor of the

harness racing periodical, Atlantic Post Calls.

The Truro Daily News reports that an evening of entertainment combined with a silent and live auction is tentatively set for February 27 at the legion hall in Amherst.

Further details will be announced at a later date.
