Buckeye Series Continues In Columbus

The second leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for three-year-old trotting colts and geldings highlights Friday night’s (June 11) 14-race program at Eldorado Scioto Downs.

A total of 46 three-year-olds will go to post in five divisions, each with a purse of $17,000.

Three first leg winners will be in action: Dontforgetlittlman, Ilikedecupcakes, and Credit Ace were winners in the first leg at Miami Valley Raceway on April 30.

Dontforgetlittlman is the only repeat winner listed as a morning line favourite. The son of Dontyouforgetit is two-for-three this year and will be driven by Dan Noble for trainer Deborah Swartz.

Other favourites include Fire Cross (Triumphant Caviar) with Kayne Kauffman for Ryan Miller. Fire Cross has won two of seven starts this year.

Naughty Triumphant (Triumphant Caviar), trained by Steve Carter, will be driven by Brett Miller. He has won three of four this season.

Peters Royalty (Uncle Peter) has won one win in four starts this year for trainer Debra Garland. The driver will be Josh Sutton.

The other favourite is Tango With Me (Deep Chip) who has three third-place finishes in five starts for Chris Beaver and driver Ronnie Wrenn Jr.
