Brooks Moved To Federal Facility
According to a report, former standardbred horse owner David Brooks was transferred to a federal detention facility this past weekend after it was found that he was trying to smuggle prescription tranquilizers into the Nassau County
jail in which he was being held.
The Newsday article states that Brooks is now being housed in a federal detention facility in Queens, New York.
Brooks is currently on trial in federal district court in Central Islip, Long Island, New York, accused of illegally using funds from publicly-traded DHB Industries to finance personal expenditures.
