Peter Venturini's Shes Pukka N was a 1:52.3 wire-to-wire winner Tuesday (April 27) at Harrington Raceway in the featured $20,000 Mares Open.

Brian Malone trainee Shes Pukka N set fractions of :27.1 and :55.4 before reaching three-quarters in a speedy 1:23.4 with My Kiwi Lady N in the pocket. In deep stretch, Shes Pukka N outlasted My Kiwi Lady N, while Feeling Sweet surged well late to grab third.

A six-year-old Betterthancheddar mare, Shes Pukka N notched her 16th victory and returned $5.00 to win. It was one of four wins on the card for driver Tony Morgan.

Allan Davis had a driving triple for the second-straight night.
