Longtime horseman Herbert Edmund Young passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 23 at Caressant Care Nursing Home in Harriston, Ontario. He was 82

Young is the cherished husband of Doris, beloved father to Julie (Morris Looby), Jill (Gino Giancola) and Lorrie (Blair Keeling), loving brother of Mildred Taylor (predeceased) and Ron Young (Millie), grandfather to Todd, Sandra, Alan, Adrian, Carla, Jennifer and Stephanie and great-grandfather of Liam, Grace and William.

Family will receive friends at Simes Funeral Home, Main St., Grand Valley, Ontario on Sunday, January 31 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial service to celebrate his life at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
