Harrington Open To Itsrockandroll A

Michael Casalino, Jr. and Rodney Long's Itsrockandroll A was a 1:53.1 winner in the featured $20,000 Open Pace Monday's opening day at Harrington Raceway.

The six-year-old A Rocknroll Dance gelding who sat in the pocket for driver Jon Roberts, out-kicked pacesetter and race favourite JJ Flynn through the stretch for a narrow win. Drinkin Again was third.

It was the third win of the year for the Dylan Davis-trained Itrockandroll A. He paid $7.80 to win.

Owner/trainer Gary Simpson had a double with two longshots Wichita Lineman ($65.80, Allan Davis) and I'll Play It Alone ($34.20, Art Stafford Jr.).

Jason Lynch's Mcboogity ($6, Jason Lynch) scored a 1:55.1 in the sub-featured $25,000 to $30,000 claiming handicap.

Pat Berry, Montrell Teague and Victor Kirby each had a driving double.
